Situation (since 1988 World Heritage)

Ravenshoe is situated at the Savannah Way from Cairns to Brome, about 1000 m above sea level.
Within an hour you can reach marvelous beaches, the Barrier Riff, rain and open forests, craters and lakes with a lot of attractive leisure activities.
Beautiful and spectacular waterfalls are near by. Australia's highest (Wallman Fall) and widest (Millstream Falls) waterfall is a site you must see.
Don't miss an Outback Tour, visit the unique lavatubes and go for gem fossicking or hike through one of the many National Parks.
